Philip Murphy, SCS., RICS., IPFMA – Managing Director

Philip joined Interact in May 2001. He has over 20 years experience in Facilities and Property Management services and is a member of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Irish Property and Facilities Managers Association (IPFMA). Philip previously worked for Savills and Lisney in their property and facilities departments, managing large-scale commercial and retail properties throughout Ireland and in the UK. His wide experience in Facilities and Property Management services has been instrumental in the formation and development of service contracts at all levels.
Philip’s areas of speciality are contract negotiation, contract mobilisation, financial control, sub-contractor procurement and business development.


Sean Smith, CEng. FICIBSE, MASHRAE – Director

Sean is a Chartered Engineer and has 40 years experience in the Consultancy and Contracting Industry in Ireland, the UK and Europe. 15 of these years were in Consulting Engineering in Ireland and 2 years were in Project Managing in the UK. He joined the Company in 1995 from Asea Brown Boveri where he was Director-in-Charge of Environmental Engineering. During his time in the industry, Sean has built up an in-depth knowledge of Services from both a design and construction perspective. He has extensive experience in specialist areas such as Cleanrooms, Automation and Industrial Ventilation. He is a past President of the Mechanical Engineering and Building Services Contractors’ Association (MEBSCA) and is on many of its various sub-committees within the Construction Industry Federation.


Conor Lynch, F.C.A. – Group Commercial Director

Conor has been a Board Director for 15 years and is one of the Principals of Leo Lynch Group, he has over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry having joined from PWC in 1990.
He has been deeply involved in the development and management of the business and has been instrumental in guiding corporate strategy across all departments.
Conor is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been heavily involved in various Committees across the Construction Industry Federation, currently serving as a Trustee and one of the Employers’ Representatives in the Construction Workers Pension Scheme, which has over €1.2 billion of assets under management.


Niamh Sterling, Dip. Journ. – Director

Niamh co-founded Interact in 1996, she is a director and member of the board of Interact, H2O Solutions and Interact UAE. Niamh’s extensive experience in the facilities services industry has enabled her develop a broad skill set with her area of expertise in business development, contract negotiation & operations. She has a keen sense of market trends and the ability to position a company to take advantage of the opportunities they create.


Jennifer McCullagh, BBM – Associate Director

Jennifer has been with Interact since May 2010, bringing with her the benefit of many years experience as a Service & Facilities Manager within the industry. Jennifer has managed many large-scale projects, right through from initial survey stage, giving each customer the support and knowledge they require to meet and exceed expectations. Jennifer holds a Level 8 qualification in Business Management and a critical role in organisational leadership, strategic direction and business development by achieving strong and lasting business relationships and ensuring the delivery of excellent service levels from all areas of the organisation.


Robert Keane, MBA, BSc, CEM, Dip.Eng. – Director

Robert joined Interact in 2011, he is a director and member of the board of Interact. Robert has 12 years’ experience working as a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor and Electrical Engineer on large scale construction projects. Having obtained an MBA, Robert is primarily responsible for monitoring and improving the delivery of service via the operations team and the implementation of new technologies which improve operational efficiencies and customer experience. In addition, Robert is responsible for business development and business planning.
